This winter the Oshkosh Park and Recreation is offering FREE ice skating this year at Menominee Park Zoo’s Lagoon!
The outdoor rink nestled in the heart of Menominee Park promises to be a magical winter attraction. Warm up and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate at the The Lake Fly Café warming shelter. Open skate hours will be on Saturdays and Sundays, January 7 through February 19, 2023 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.
FREE skate rentals from Dr. Eric’s Skate Club will be available to the public.
The International Youth Sailing of Oshkosh club will also provide FREE cross-country ski rentals on January 7 – 8 and February 18 – 19, 2023. If you have never been cross-country skiing, sign up for instruction with the Oshkosh Recreation Department online at www.oshkoshrecdept.com.
A special event is planned for Friday, February 10, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm when the Oshkosh Area School District has the day off. Details on the event will be released soon.
